How do u do it? make me feel like i do

Stellar is my favorite Incubus song ever.

Meet me in outerspace
We could spend the night, watch the earth come up
I've grown tired of that place, wont you come with me
We could start again
How do you do it, make me feel like I do
How do you do it, its better than I ever knew
Meet me in outerspace
I will hold you close, If your afraid of heights
I need you to see this place, It might be the only way
That I can show you how, it feels to be inside of you
How do you do it, make me feel like I do
How do you do it, its better than I ever knew
How do you do it, make me feel like I do
You are stellar

This song just kills.

The kite runner

I am so glad i met my shorty and gave me a chance to read and experience this WONDER. I finished the novel a while ago and IT RIPPED MY HEARTS OUT. I Swear it was beautiful. I can't believe i can experience that in books. I was kina feeling down lately and reading this just killed me. I could not go on without crying. I wasn't even crying. I WAS BAWLING LIKE A BABY. Shit the prologue itself was wonderful. I also met one of my FAVORITE CHARACTERS in the history of books. He just killed me. When i was reading him, i could not help but pause in a while, stare in the ceiling and wonder. He was just real and beautiful. After finishing the book, i just opened the first few pages and scanned all the his scenes...he was too surreal... i think everybody in this world should read this book..that's how wonderful it is..anyway it's easy read. No boring part and the writing rips emotions. I love Afghanistan. I love the middle east. I think it's a beautiful place full of hopes and dreams. I am so going there someday.

Then i glanced up and saw a pair of kites, red with long blue tails, soaring in the sky. And suddenly Hassan's voice whispered in my head: For you, a thousand times over. Hassan the harekipped kite runner.

I sat on a park bench near a willow tree. I thought about something Rahim Khan said just before he hung up, almost as an afterthought. There is a way to be good again. I looked up at those twin kites. I thought about Hassan. Thought about Baba. Ali. Kabul. I thought of the life i had lived until the winter of 1975 came along and change everything. And made me what i am today.

Hassan and i fed from the same breasts. We took our first steps on the same lawn in the same yard. And, under the same roof, we spoke our firsts words.

Mine was BABA.
His was AMIR. My name.

I watched baba's car pull away from the curb, taking with it the person whose first spoken word had been my name.

He was already urning the street corner, his rubber boots kicking up snow. He stopped, turned. He cupped his hands around his mouth. "For you a thousand times over!" he said. Then he smiled his Hassan smile and disappeared around he corner. The next time i saw him smile unabshedl like that was twenty six years later, in a faded polaroid photograph.

For you, a thousand times over.

I HOPE I FIND MY HASSAN IN LIFE.
