Eric Shanteau

Beijing Olympics galore.
I can't get off the TV because there is too much sports everywhere.
Apart from football and basketball, i love swimming!
Men swimmers are one of the hottest athletes ever.
They have the BEST BODIES. OMG.

and this guy was introduced to me by my friend...and it was love at first sight..

MEET ERIC SHANTEAU!

He is a swimmer from the United states.
and a week before the Olympics, he learned he had testicular cancer.
But he will still compete.
I think i love him.

I think he looks so good. He has this Gael Garcia Bernalness in him.
It's the jaw and the yes. I think.
Look.

I like him. I think i'm going to the U.S to meet him.
will watch more swimming now.

I miss school and schooling.

the night before our PR presentation (we died)

Now that I'm about to work and have been idle for a few months.
I just have to say this.
I miss SCHOOL.

I miss carrying books, writing, listening, waking up early and going to class.
Meeting my amazing friends, preparing for a pitch, recitations, too much readings,
discovering things, eating in the cafeteria and outside, coffee and energy drinks, thinking thinking and thinking, asking too many questions.

Twilight craze

I have no plans in finishing the twilight series anymore.
Honestly, i lost my appetite after reading New moon. I could not stand that girl Bella Swan.
She makes me puke. She just irritates me and i already know what's going to happen until breaking dawn. I like Edward Cullen individually but i love Jacob Black too. I am also rooting for Alice and Jasper Hale. But the ending was predictable. Honestly, i expected more from Stephenie Meyer, you know a little bit of twist in there.

Anyway, this twilight craze is everywhere. Suddenly everybody wants to marry Edward Cullen and you can see it in everyone's profiles and status message. I have no problem with it, Edward is a dream boy but it is funny how this twilight phenomenon suddenly made people who do not read at all, READ! and they love it! they love parading around how much they finished the series and cannot wait for breaking dawn or midnight sun. LOL i'm sorry i just find it funny. After reading twilight, why don't you try grabbing one from Gabriel Garcia Marquez or easier for you, an Anne Rice novel? then tell me about it.

and as i have said above, i hate the Edward-Bella love team or whatever you call it.
Just as much as i stopped watching One tree hill, because i don't like Lucas and Peyton together, Friday night lights because i can't stand seeing Lyla Garrity with my Tim freakin Riggins. Damn this horrible pair ups. Give me more Seth-Summer and Blair-chuck qualities!

It bothers me so much.
Please give this to me.
I deserve it.

this is me...

...this poem sums up my life right now.

The Day the Saucers Came
By Neil Gaiman

That day, the saucers landed. Hundreds of them, golden,
Silent, coming down from the sky like great snowflakes,
And the people of Earth stood and stared as they descended,
Waiting, dry-mouthed to find what waited inside for us
And none of us knowing if we would be here tomorrow
But you didn't notice it because

That day, the day the saucers came, by some coincidence,
Was the day that the graves gave up their dead
And the zombies pushed up through soft earth
or erupted, shambling and dull-eyed, unstoppable,
Came towards us, the living, and we screamed and ran,
But you did not notice this because

On the saucer day, which was the zombie day, it was
Ragnarok also, and the television screens showed us
A ship built of dead-man's nails, a serpent, a wolf,
All bigger than the mind could hold, and the cameraman could
Not get far enough away, and then the Gods came out
But you did not see them coming because

On the saucer-zombie-battling gods day the floodgates broke
And each of us was engulfed by genies and sprites
Offering us wishes and wonders and eternities
And charm and cleverness and true brave hearts and pots of gold
While giants feefofummed across the land, and killer bees,
But you had no idea of any of this because

That day, the saucer day the zombie day
The Ragnarok and fairies day, the day the great winds came
And snows, and the cities turned to crystal, the day
All plants died, plastics dissolved, the day the
Computers turned, the screens telling us we would obey, the day
Angels, drunk and muddled, stumbled from the bars,
And all the bells of London were sounded, the day
Animals spoke to us in Assyrian, the Yeti day,
The fluttering capes and arrival of the Time Machine day,
You didn't notice any of this because

You were sitting in your room, not doing anything
Not even reading, not really
Just looking at your telephone,
Wondering if I was going to call.

yes this is me.

and this poem was read LIVE by Neil himself while we were at the ad congress.
I could not breathe after he read it.

I LOVE BROOKLYN BECKHAM!

Yes..Posh and Beck's 9 year old son has caught my attention lately after series of adorable and fierce showings. I swear! He is one interesting boy especially towards the Paparazzi!

One time after visiting his grandparents together with little bro Romeo, he shouts and make these funny faces at the paps...

and then one time after dining at a japanese resto with his dad......Brooklyn again, showed how much he adores the paps.....

lol...giving them this face....

and another one while this time only with mom Victoria while leaving london.. he was holding her hand so tight while sporting that FACE sort of ready to kill someone who will get in the way... lol..

But it runs in the family... one time David was caught pushing off a cameraman after trying to snag photos of his youngest son, Cruz...haha he was sure pissed.

and Brooklyn is loving it!

But Brooklyn totally owned me when he was caught covering Posh's face with a PAD PAPER, shielding her from the paparazzi!

Don't you just love Brooklyn and his freakin pad paper??? i love it! so ghetto! i hope he does not grow up to be really bad person though. Hating the paps is okay atleast once in a while haha. But i love how he adores his parents and brothers though...and i think it runs in the family!

and ..Cruz Beckham agrees!

Gilbert Arenas blogs about Manila and the Philippines...

Check this out...this guy is love.

EVERYBODY SHOULD VISIT MANILA
July 14, 2008

Then we stopped in Manila. It was a different world. I’ve never seen fans like that in my life. These pictures can’t even do justice to what was going on out there. I had a reception at a small, little venue to welcome me to the city and there were 200 people there.

One thing I want to say about Filipinos: they’re very warm people, very good-hearted people. Like, everybody was nice. You know, you meet nice people, but a whole country of nice, genuine, warm-hearted people was unbelievable. These are diehard fans.

I really didn’t know if I was in Game 7 of a playoff series, I couldn’t tell the difference. Everywhere I went it was just bananas.

I also want to give a shout out to my man from Maryland who flew from MD to the Philippines and told me the reason he flew all the way out there was to get autographs from me because he knew I was going to be there at that date and time.

I did a couple mall tours. I also helped a kid with his wish. It was in one of the poverty areas in Manila and there’s a group called GK that builds homes for people all over the world. They helped this community out by putting people in homes. I guess a couple weeks before we got there, a hurricane hit and destroyed their community and GK helped build it back up.

One little kid who lived there wanted a basketball court for his community so all the kids could play so I donated – with the help of GK and adidas – a basketball court to that community and the kid was very happy.

You have to look at the Agent Zero posters they had out there. They put me in a cape at one of my last events in Manila. It was at one of their biggest malls and they were predicting it was going to be crowded. I mean, crowded to me is a Saturday afternoon at the mall where you have to wait in line for 10 minutes to pay for your jeans. Their crowded was probably four or five thousand people in the mall. It was like nothing I’ve ever seen before, and I’ve seen crazy fans all over the world. It was like Golden State against the Dallas Mavericks with Game 3 back in Oakland. It was that type of atmosphere in the mall.

I was stunned.

They made me feel like an NBA star.

Any NBA players out there: If you’re having a bad day, or you’re having a bad career, go to Manila. They’ll bring your spirits up, trust me. (LOL I LOVE HIM! HAHA)

I felt like I just won the NBA championship, to be for real.

After we left the mall we were looking at pictures from the event a couple days later and we were telling ourselves, "Man, that was unreal!"

Plus, with the security I had, I felt like I was the President. I felt like I was Obama. I really felt like I was running in the presidential election, especially when I got to meet the U.S. ambassador out in the Philippines. We had a great time talking to each other.

We actually went to a college basketball game together. Their college game would be like if it was Duke and Maryland playing each other and you split the crowd in half, 50-50. One side of their gym was blue and one side of their gym was green and everybody was just yelling.

Backstage I met Manny Pacquiao, he’s the town hero. I have to be honest, they made me feel even bigger than him at the moment. I talked to him and he invited me to his November fight, so if I have time and depending on if we have a day off, I might go see that. Oh, I also met Jet Li in Shanghai, can’t leave him out.

On top of everything else in Manila, I stayed at the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at – The Peninsula. I was in the mack daddy “El Presidente” suite and was like the Fresh Prince with Geoffrey – I had a live-in butler.

One more note on Manila, just so you guys can get a picture of what kind of people they are and how much they adore and love entertainers and the NBA. Think about this: If you’ve ever been to a BeyoncĂ© concert, or anybody’s concert in the states really, if they sell out an arena it will be 20,000 fans. Last year in BeyoncĂ©’s hometown, Houston, she pulled in 12,000 people to her show. D.C. was her biggest sell, she put 18,000 people in the seats. Meanwhile, she was in Manila for two days to do two concerts and she had 85,000 people, two nights straight.

She couldn’t even do it in the arena, she had to do it on the lawn. Like, “Everybody, y’all just get in the grass, I’m going to perform.”

That’s how the people are out there.

Don't you just love this guy?

Check out his blog here

Congratulations to my husband...

and SPAIN FOR WINNING THE EURO 2008!!!!

Spain - 1 (Torres)
Germany - 0

I love you podolski but i want my spaniards to win!!! and they did!!!! Beautiful football in there!!!!!!!!!

I love love love THE SPANISH MIDFIELD QUARTET composed of XAVI, INIESTA, SENNA (who deserves the player of the tournament award) and my talented and intelligant pass-master husband, CESC FABREGAS who just turned 21 last month!!! hahah I think spain's midfield is their key strength all throughout the series. It allowed them to play beautifully with all that amazing passes and ball handling. Nice seeing football played with so much technique rather than power or force. I love this spanish team. These 4 guys are also included in the list of UEFA EURO 2008™ Team of the Tournament. World class midfield
indeed!!!

Great defense from the hottie Sergio Ramos, Capdevila, Marchena and Puyol. Such hard tireless workers.

David Villa, for winning the scoring crown in the whole tournament with 4 goals next to my other german husband podolski with 3 goals haha. He's been amazing although he missed the final game...and then there's the prince, Fernando freakin Torres who plays as good as he looks!!! he scored the only goal in the finals that gave us the win!!!

finally, my iker! How many times did i say i love Iker Casillas? i think he's one of the best looking guys existing in this world today and he happens to play keeper for real madrid and Spain! He has been a phenomenon this series. Lots of times, i was losing hope then he would bring it back! It's a toss up between him and Senna for the player of the tournament award!

and again going back to my husband, Cesc.. i love you.. super sub indeed.. when people doubted that you can't play as good as when you're playing for arsenal...you owned everyone including the critics and your coach aragones! hahah i am so happy for you and i wish continue playing beautiful football and be one of the all time greats after you retire!

Thank you for giving us beautiful football.

“It was a long time since a team playing that kind of beautiful football had that kind of success,” Spanish midfielder Cesc Fabregas told reporters after the game. “Finally good football has the success it deserves.”

Wordcup in 2010 naman!!! my boys are still young, Sergio and David silva are only 22, Iniesta and torres are 24, iker is 27 and my husband cesc just turned 21 last month which makes me giddy like a proud mother for all his accomplishments. He plays like a 28 year old veteran with his passing skills and game vision.

Aragones, sige na nga. Congrats.

4-5-1 line up for the win! damn these midfielders!!!

Spain football = Beautiful people playing beautiful football!!! haha i find almost half of the team beautiful!

Last night i had a dream and i was married to David Villa and we have 2 kids. LOL then a while ago..i thought of David Sila.. lol i love these damn spaniards..

See you guys in 2010!!!! South africa!!! let's win!!!

can u read my mind

The song "Read my mind" just topped my list of favorite songs from the killers replacing the orgasmic "All these things that I've done".

Listen to the song here. IT IS LOVE.
My favorite part starts at 1:46 to 1:55.

sucks

Am i horrible because it seems like everyday of my life, i encounter idiots? it's not like i'm this smart Aleck that should be loved by everyone, i got a lot of dumbo moments too but damn why does it seem like a lot of people around me DO NOT THINK AT ALL? at all. in general. I mean seriously and some of them i really LOVE which makes it even suckier. Thinking about stuff like this can ruin my day just like today. Yes, i am horrible.

What do we love? PAIN.

From the movie "Say anything"

COREY

Diane Court doesn't go out with guys like you. She's a brain.

D.C.
Trapped in the body of a gameshow hostess.

COREY
Diane Court does not realize how good-looking she is.

LLOYD
Sounds great to me, I'm going to call her, that's what's cool about her.

COREY
Brains stay with brains. The bomb could go off and their mutant genes would form the same cliques.

D.C.
I wouldn't get my hopes up Lloyd.

COREY
I'm sorry. It's just you're a really nice guy, and we don't want to see you get hurt.

LLOYD
I wanna get hurt!

This film is love.
