OMG i'm watching TV right now and MY BASKETBALL TV AND SOLAR SPORTS ARE GONE GONE GONE!!!! DAMN SKY CABLE! Maygad i feel like i lost someone! this replacement balls channel whatever they call it sucks so bad! I remember a long time ago when BTV was not yet around and all i have was ESPN and starsports omg then btv came and it felt like Harry's nimbus two thousand to us basketball geeks! And now do i have to go back and endure ESPN'S LAME basketball coverage? i remember how my fellow ball geeks used to dis their really lame coverage and commentating and they only show like 1 game per week... and you know what i cannot go back to that! Gawd do i sound stupid here already? but it's sad! it's sports! it is basketball! it's like a part of my daily survival already..i'm sure my fellow basketball are hearing me right now..

I swear i'm gonna get rid of this damn cable and subscribe to DESTINY again... Etc, 2nd avenue, crime suspense..etc were axed too but they're free cable now..so i guess that does not count BUT MY SPORTS ARE GONE...just when the freakin ALL STAR WEEKEND IS NEAR! GREAT!

Last night i saw Chin and Ikai's play Hoy Boyet hinahanap ka na, hatinggabi na'y gising ka pa pala and it was lovely. I liked the music and the mood. And my friends we're so good. I did not know they could DO THAT. Wow. I love watching plays especially tagalog ones. It gives me this weird feeling. I want to watch it again to catch some unclear stuff though but it was lovely. Oh and it was written by TONY PEREZ who also i think..wrote the lovely Sa north diversion road. Oh diba..kaya pala! at title pa lang panalo na! hoy boyet.....

Speaking of Tagalog plays... i'm not as fond of watching tagalog films as much as i am with english..just like most people. But i still have some few favorites. It's just recent when i took notice of how lovely some filipino movies are. And i'm not talking about the box office tagalog mother lily films that they usually show. I don't know..when a tagalog film is good..it's really good. I like its mood most of all. You know, you can almost breathe it ala lost in translation. I made a list from memory...and here's what i came up with in random order.

I don't know where to get them? perhaps someone could lend me. I would watch them.

My dream job has jumped from being a sportscaster, bookshop owner to a film maker ala Zach Braff. I wonder what's next.

Seeing neil for the 2nd time

My first ad congress experience was highlighted by the presence of NEIL GAIMAN, my idol himself. His talk about imagination, day dreaming and creativity was lovely. Crap i was getting different kinds of emotions while listening to him. That poem was lovely and i cannot wait for the upcoming graveyard book that got a lot of people in the area utter an ooooooohhhhhh. It's just sad that i was not able to go to the book signing because i'm out of cash and counting on the idea that i'm gonna see him in fullybooked manila anyway after the congress. BOO me! i missed a lot of events ..this one in particular....... i saw this linked in NEIL'S BLOG and I FREAKIN DIED!!!!!! CAN IT GET EVEN COOLER THAN THAT? having the love of your life proposed to you with the help of NEIL GAIMAN?

I wonder when NEIL is planning to visit again. I bought a copy of fragile things during my pre-congress shopping spree for him to sign only finding out that there is a payment and i was not ready then i bought my own copy of stardust and good omens in the congress. I want to get a complete sandman but i'm still poor..i'm still a student for chrissake hahah and i saw how those agency junkies stashed their moolah's out to buy Neil's works. I swear they spent a fortune in one buying. But how can you not when it is NEIL we're talking about? i'm gonna have one spot all containing NEIL in my dream library at home someday. Yes just like my radiohead spot. I swear i will make this happen!

I remember the first time i bought a NEIL GAIMAN book was when i was 13 and in my freshman year of highschool hahah it was neverwhere and i got FLOORED and mindfucked. I already know that he's gonna be a part of my GEEKDOM! Then i attended his book signing in 2005? i think. I went to gateway during lunch time and got my dream country signed at 9 FREAKIN PM! He was so nice!!!! i want another NEIL EVENT!!!

I was asked by my creatives prof. what's the best part o the ad congress so far and without a doubt..i said seeing NEIL GAIMAN AGAIN!!!

I cannot get off my mind that incident in the news last week when a BABY was attacked and eaten by RATS. Yes freakin rats! That news made me want to scream and shoot someone. I swear. The baby, Maygad. That baby can't even walk and talk to complain. It's sad how poverty is owning a lot of people that Rats are feeding on little babies!...maygad.

Today i recalled everything when i was having lunch with Sam at Almon Marina and this baby on a stroller right beside us was staring at me! His eyes were not moving i swear it really bothered me! He would look around if he notices something then would quickly return his gaze on me. He's about 4 to 5 months old. The way he was looking was so weird. I can't even read his emotions, it was just his big eyes looking at me. When we started to leave the place, his yes followed me and slightly raised his hands that haunted me. I don't know if he's learned to say bye or he's saying something. I swear it killed me big time! I can't get that baby out of my mind. I love that baby i swear. Babies and little ones, they really break my heart.

NBA tipped off yesterday.
As much as i fell deeply in love with football in the past four years, i can say that i can never turn my head away from basketball. I just love this game. I grew up breathing this one. It is like home. The pinoy in me again hehe but i seriously love this game.

and i'm keeping my fingers crossed for my SA spurs to repeat. It's a challenge because it seems like they're having a hard time repeating and some say it's never gonna happen. Well i wish now is the time.



Let's go spurs and let's show them again how to play real basketball!!!!!!
OT: Tim Duncan agreed to take less than his maximum salary. He signed a two year, $40 million extension. I'm currently listening to Radiohead's latest album In rainbows and i freakin love it! I wanted to get the CD but it's too damn expensive but i'll get it someday. I'm planning to sort of have a Radiohead shrine in this certain part of my house with all their albums etc. They are my favorite band in the world. Their music sounds like my heart beating. Exactly the way it is. Radiohead is just love.

I'm going to get rich. I need to get Rich. I want to be like my astig Prof. Ichay bulaong, awesome awesome individual. We all think she's a role model. We want to be like her, even AJ! I want to own a bookstore with a coffee shop someday but this is when i'm already settled and ready to have a family because prior to that i'll prolly work my ass of somewhere, be a busy woman , always on the go, i will take many pictures using my camera, i will do try to do art, travel and experience cultures, do something worthwhile, be active in an NGO that i really believe in, i will write, go to the most beautiful places here in my lovely country, continue to love and love and have faith.

My Last semester in college.

My GWA last sem was 2.14 and i need all the miracles in the world to get a 2.00 or better to make it to the fifth year. I need to pull up a series of 1.5 and 1.75 to do this. Goodluck to me. My heart is nervous but my mind is waiting.

first semester of my last year in college: crucial times

Semestral break.

Back to my bum life.
I have a love and hate relationship with this time of the year. I love the fact that this is the time when i filter and recap everything that often leads me to panic and get back on track. Focus. And also this time reminds me what i have to do and what i should not. I hate it because it's also the time when i realize all my horribleness as a person and citizen. I have so much to do not only for myself, for my loved ones and for the world. Grrrr, now i'm in a hurry.


THE SEM THAT WAS BEYOND DESCRIPTION.
I think i need to write a book for that sem because i can't try to put a few words that will describe it without me feeling guilty that i'm not giving justice to that special semester of my life. I love that sem. I hurted. I loved. I felt. I thought. I appreciated. I learned. I hated. I respected. I WAS ALIVE AND I FELT IT.

september to october

This is the time when i say "if you're not very good , then you are bad." It is the last month of first sem fourth year and it is going to be insane. I have to do well not because i just have to it is because i've given everything for this lately and failing it would mean i am worth nothing. As how they put it "wala na natira saken, kaya itong natitira na toh, yung school i have to be more than good". Watch me cry in the next few days.
